This has happened so many times now I've lost count, for most of the past week MEGAsync has just been scanning folders, trying to remember where it left off, where it will eventually begin uploading again, assuming nothing interrupts the scanning process before it gets to that stage. Please log into your account and start all over again! I can't quit the application either, no login or session details are saved, no sync folders or progress is remembered. Furthermore, even when not interacting with it, sometimes it will simply log you out and the log-in box will appear, at which point you know that represents another untold number of hours down the drain. If left undisturbed it will continue for a while, but checking the progress of the upload is precarious and risky if it crashes that's it, you are back to the start, logged out and must start the whole process once again. When it closes it forgets everything it forgets that I'm logged in and asks me to enter my details again, it forgets the sync folders asking me to reselect them and then it proceeds to rescan the 100GB+ of data it managed to upload, which can take hours before it begins uploading again.
Megasync login slow software#
The software is painfully slow and unresponsive during an upload and interacting with it can cause it to lock-up and crash. I log into my account, choose a sync folder and the destination on the cloud and it begins uploading the data. I'm trying to sync a hard drive with MEGAsync, but the software is infuriatingly temperamental. For the past week, I've been trying to upload a large amount of data to MEGA, but have found the experience frustrating and I'm not getting anywhere.
